I was able to run today and I feel like I am getting the hang of it. I did a mile again at 5mph and was able to do it straight through. I was still a little bit out of breath during the last few minutes but I feel like that is something that will get better throughout training.
I also had my first fencing P.E. class today. Believe it or not, it is really difficult since I do not have the technique. But I feel like it will help me a lot for my training. We have to be in an "un-guard" position, which consists of squatting and having good posture. I know that it will help me build my leg and core muscles along with improving my footwork.
Tomorrow will be my cross-training/rest day. Not sure what I am going to do yet. It is supposed to be warm outside but there may be some rain showers around. I was thinking of hiking the mountain next to my school but that may not be a good idea if it rains. If it does rain, I am probably going to go to the gym or do some exercises in my room. It will all depend on the weather.
