I am on a co-ed volleyball team (4 vs 4) and a co-ed indoor soccer team (6 vs 6). We had our first 2 volleyball games last night. Our team name is the PT Beaters (PT = physical therapy which is what we are majoring in). We won one game and lost one. I will tell you though, my arms are bruised from the games. And my muscles in my forearms are sore along with my hips from falling and diving everywhere. I have war wounds haha.
Today we had our first indoor soccer game. Our team name is the Torres' Terrorizers (shout out to Professor Torres!!!). I will tell you this; this game was probably the most intense game of soccer that I have played since high school when I was on the varsity team. See, our team is playing just for fun and we are using this to get away from the school work for a little while. But the other team,on the other hand, was playing like it was do or die. Bodies were diving, arms were flying, and people were pushing and shoving a lot. It was insane. We were able to get one goal so that was an accomplishment!

| What I think the other team was thinking during our game |
I am going to be so sore tomorrow from both the soccer and volleyball games. I don't think that I have ran and sprinted that much in a very long time. I already feel it in my legs. I love that soreness feeling but I am going to hate it when I have to climb up 4 flights of stairs to cadaver lab tomorrow!
Anybody else have that love/hate relationship with muscle soreness after exercising?
