I started my graduate classes at the University of Michigan-Flint last week and I am already studying like crazy. I have a few quizzes coming up already and I am stressing about them. I am trying to keep my stress low this semester but that will probably not happen.
And the cool thing about the school is that it is part of the University of Michigan; the main campus is down at Ann Arbor. We are part of the school which means we are part of the Wolverines. I watched the Michigan vs Alabama football game last week and they got killed. This was the first college football game that I actually cared about...and they lost.
So getting back to running...I have not ran in almost 2 weeks. During the past 2 weeks I have moved 700 miles to the midwest and I have been trying to get everything settled. I do not have any plans or races coming up since I want to focus on studying and getting into a groove. It also doesn't help that I live in the middle of the most dangerous city in the country and I can't go running outside. The school does have a rec center and I want to check it out. I have heard that there is no AC (which is ridiculous since every other building on campus has AC) and it is very hot and humid in there. I am going to wait till the weather gets a little cooler (by next week) and hopefully I will be in a better rhythm than I am in now.
That is it for now. Thanks for reading!
